DESCRIPTION:The training held at Baku State University focused on Implementing Azure Policies and Governance for a Well-Architected Cloud\, providing participants with practical insights into enforcing compliance\, managing resources efficiently\, and maintaining security within Azure environments. Attendees explored the key governance mechanisms that help organizations align with best practices while ensuring operational consistency and regulatory compliance. \nAs a mentor\, I guided participants through critical topics such as Azure Policy for enforcing governance at scale\, Role-Based Access Control (RBAC) for secure identity and access management\, Azure Blueprints for standardized deployments\, resource tagging strategies for better cost and management visibility\, and monitoring compliance through Azure Security Center and Azure Advisor. Participants engaged in hands-on labs\, where they implemented governance controls\, created policies\, and assessed their effectiveness in real-world cloud environments. \nThis training significantly benefited students by deepening their understanding of cloud governance frameworks\, fostering collaboration and knowledge-sharing\, and preparing them to address real-world challenges in cloud security and compliance. Through this experience\, students acquired valuable skills that strengthen their expertise in cloud management and governance\, setting a strong foundation for future careers in cloud architecture and IT security.
