SUMMARY:Enhancing Security with Microsoft Zero Trust Model
DESCRIPTION:I presented the Microsoft Zero Trust security model to the employees of the Data Center today. The presentation covered the core principles of Zero Trust\, emphasizing the “Never trust\, always verify” approach. \nI explained how conditions such as user roles\, device compliance\, physical and virtual location\, and authentication methods influence security policies. Additionally\, I demonstrated how Microsoft’s real-time evaluation engine\, powered by machine learning\, assesses session risk and enforces security controls. \nThe session also included practical insights on implementing policies such as allowing or blocking access\, requiring multi-factor authentication (MFA)\, enforcing password resets\, and blocking legacy authentication. \nThis session helped employees understand the importance of Zero Trust in securing access to Microsoft Cloud\, SaaS applications\, and on-premises resources.
